I loved this card.

Simply illustrating the different ideas of what Powerpoint could mean to different people.

Most of us have heard the frais death by Powerpoint, this is what sprang to mind.

During this final semester at university, i have been to a lot of conferences, with different speakers, and a range of presenting styles.

The style of presenting that works for me as a guest is a speaker with energy, a voice that reaches me and can easily be understood.

The style that I get less from is too much written information on-screen ( I’m not sure if i should be reading or listening.)

My presentation style is becoming more simplified.

During our crit’s at university and presentations during interviews ( Coveris and Mars) I have found that too many slides just gets in the way of what im talking about ( I forget to switch to the next slide)

Even though I want to improve my presentation style further, after seeing the video that Lauren took and shared as part of our PPD at university, I feel my presentations are now much better, clearer, on time, and have structure.

I now prepare by drinking less coffee, having breakfast, exercise and the obvious re hearse before hand.
