Project 2 year 3 page two – Iceland pitch preparation

Pauline Ferguson, my mentor and I on a walk and talk mentoring session , discussions like these made me realise it’s not just design, but designing to create solutions and designing with sustainable ideology throughout a project that excites me.

Pauline Ferguson was assigned as my mentor through a women in Leadership scholarship which 30 women like myself gained after competing for a place on the program.

Pauline through the mentoring and sharing ideas put me in contact with Jo Elsdon resulted in an opportunity to pitch SEAsoning to Iceland frozen foods.

The product pitch to Iceland that Joanne Ellison NPD Director at BBF LIMITED set up, was worthwhile for different reasons.

A) Practising the skill of presenting and selling the concept of a product.

B) Confidence building. ( fake it till you make it)

C) Networking

D) The opportunity to see how packaging departments work with an organisation, and what opportunities there might be for me.
