Project 2 Year 3 Sketchbook page 94 – first Tray that Im happy with

The images below illustrate the result of layering coffee gradual polymer , followed by the hemp and coffee mixture.

The results were what id hoping for, a shiny inner and a rustic outer.

David Veron company director of UnU, and I discussed the outer look. I was worried that consumers would prefer a smoother and shinier look to the outside packaging.

David convinced me to stay with the rustic look. He liked it. He would recognise it as been different and purchase the contents of the packaging, because of the look and concept of the biofuel tray.

My next steps where to smooth the tray lip where I needed to heat seal a tray lid.

Also find a way of applying an embossed logo to the packaging, I wanted the biofuel info graphic on the inner and outer of the tray.
