Part of my personal development targets for this project is to engage further with 3D design and print.
I spent time watching you tube and found these video’s ‘ Learn Fusion 360 or die trying’ Paul McWhorter is a genius, and when I do need to learn the package this is where I’ll hide myself away for a week with lots of coffee.
Post degree I have an opportunity to learn and teach David CEO of UNU a children’s learning resource. Because the learning has purpose I’ll enjoy learning the program.
For this project, past the initial modelling I didn’t see the need to provide a visual representation in a material that is currently unsustainable, it was fun though exploring the software and I now feel confident when the time comes to learn to use it so I can communicate my designs I’ll be more than capable.
The images below show my sketching and then Fusion 360 sketching on-screen and then the transfer of fusion into the university software to print.
