I can’t thank the team at Parkside enough.

I first met Mark Shaw, product developer at park side flexible at a sustainable design conference  rise and design, in Harrogate.

Mark seemed interested in my university project, so I had the opportunity to share what i was doing.

I later very cheekyly asked for Marks help in advice giving. This led to a lot more help and a polished looking prototype complete with lid film.

Mark wasnt directly involved, other than discussions, it was Kirsty Alderson, New Product Development Technician at Parkside Flexibles, who spent hours with me developing the lid and the graphics to go with it.

The experience has been fantastic, I am currently looking for product development roles.

On another visit we worked on the graphics and alignment of fitting.

I also used the photographic facilities at park side saving me hours of faf that I would have had travelling in and of Leeds to personally book the photographic studio, and then the return journey to use the studio.

I received a gift of time, my most precious commodity.

( a side note: having an online booking system for university services could make services more accessible and be easier for all to book and cancel. going digital would make the service easy to police, preventing abuse of services… a little like the online library booking system)
