The images below show my attendance at Rise and design, a super conference.
Really glad I pushed myself to go. I did feel like an imposter though as the only student their.
The connections made with Mark Shaw have been invaluable to my current project.
Mark works at Parkside flexibles, I think we where both equally impressed with what we are trying to achieve with sustainable design, plus we both have shared passions for packaging and the outdoors, Mark loves his garden.
Helen Shiels as also been a great asset to my connection list but not in a direct way Helen works as, business development – process scale up and biosciences innovation, to grow the bioeconomy at Biorenewables Development Centre , although I’m keen to have a career in packaging, meeting Helen Shiels highlighted business development as a future job role that might be a good fit.
I’m currently having my try tested at the York , Biorenewables Development Centre. with the Help of Andrew Cousins By coincidence Andrew is currently working from the centre, I connected with Andrew through LinkedIn and asked if he would be interested in giving his opinion on my product. A happy coincidence.
