After another trip back to the Hemp farm, and seeing the hemp dust formed by the machinery, I was inspired to find a way of emulating that fine fibre at home in my workshop.

Thankfully Asda supermarket to the rescue with a super powerful grinder, its purpose to grind nuts and coffee granules. I’ve only burnt out three motors so far … Shhhh don’t tell anyone. seriously though Thanks Asda.

The images below show how the grinder whizzed the course fiber of Hemp in to a very soft fibre. This soft powder transformed the look of the trays.
